Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and featuring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, and Prachi Desai in lead roles. It is an official remake of the popular 1979 film Gol Maal. Fox Star Studios bought the worldwide theatrical rights of the film for INR94 crore (US$18.75 million). The official trailer of the film was released on 24 May 2012. Bol Bachchan released worldwide on 6 July 2012 in around 2575 screens and received mixed critical acclaim. The film had a good opening at the box office and had supposedly created a record for its advance bookings.
